This drawing of a hangman, for whom the ax to chop off the head of the convicted is too heavy, probably dates from 1976. Student work that means. The technique is Chinese ink and pen and the dots in the background were created by using a toothbrush dipped in ink on a small metal grate. Photoshop computers were not in existence.

Beul en schavot.
Deze tekening van een beul, voor wie de bijl waarmee hij het hoofd van een veroordeelde moet afhakken te zwaar is, stamt vermoedelijk uit 1976. Studentenwerk dus. De techniek is Chinese inkt en pen, op de achtergrond zijn de stipjes gemaakt door met een in inkt gedoopte tandenborstel over een klein roostertje te wrijven. Computers met photoshop bestonden toen nog niet.

Échafaud et le bourreau.
Ce dessin d'un bourreau, pour qui la hache avec laquelle la tête d'une personne condamnée doit être frappée, est trop lourd, date probablement de 1976. Le travail des élèves alors. La technique est l'encre de Chine et plume et dans le fond les points sont créés en utilisant une brosse à dents trempée dans l'encre sur une petite grille de métal. Photoshop et ordinateurs n'existaient pas.
